“ The biggest burgers in all of Texas. I’m convinced. This is one of those places that you wouldn’t ever believe existed, but it does and it’s been around for a LONG time. I discovered this place on my very first visit out to El Paso from Dallas, I was starting to get hungry on the drive and I happened to get gas at a sketchy little gas station about 30ish minutes outside of town when I just happened to be all over Tinder. I had matched with a girl at the time; and I was looking for some GOOD local food & a dope place to take some photos back in 2017 and this was the place I was recommended by that girl. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to find it when I got in town and had accidentally found Watts, but I eventually found this place and let me tell you, this changed my entire mindset on burgers. I pulled up and I was the only truck in the area so I was afraid I was too late, but I walked up and saw the iconic mural on the fenced in wall, and was like man this place must have some history to it. I had ZERO expectations; I was thinking I was going to get some bunk little burger, but after waiting what felt like 5 minutes or so, my burger came out and holy smokes it was just as big as my wheels on the truck. Hands down the best burger that I have had the privilege of eating in my life. The next time I am in Texas, I will TRY my best to come here and try to devour one of these burger again. ”

“ The guy at the register was friendly, and very helpful. I came here for the first time and i was kinda lost as to which window or side i should pull up to. But the guy just mentioned to me and i immidiatly realized where to go. Placed my order and had to only wait less than 10 minutes before it was ready. I can say that i would come back with some friends to enjoy the delicious burgers that this place serve. I ate and was very satisfied. I recommend thus place anytime. Great job. ”

“ We had a great experience here at BJ's. Knowing that it takes 15-20 minutes for them to make your order, we called ahead. By the time we arrived, it was prepared. The lady who helped us was nice and gave us ketchup and salt packs when we asked. We ordered regular fries and tots, so I can't speak to the amount of fries you get with a large order (which so many other reviewers complained about). I do know that every place has their own sizing parameters, and a large here may not be the same as a large at, say, Whataburger or McDonalds. Also, a lot of people said the staff were rude. That definitely wasn't our experience. People around here are often rude themselves and push customer service workers too hard, only to be shocked when they react. Idk if that's what happened with some of the other BJ's reviewers. But this also isn't a gourmet restaurant. Don't expect to be treated like a king/queen. ”

It's not great because of some gimmick of large burgers, the burger is just genuinely tasty, enjoyable, great mouth feel, not overly greasy on the meat but moist, the buns are soft but can hold the weight because of the toasting... It's just a great experience to share with the whole family. I'm not sharing my burger tho, I'm eating all 4 pieces, they can get their own burger. ”
